The LandWell Company has been meeting with the community and interested stakeholders since 1999. Open to the public, these meetings have served to update the community on the progress of the project.
A monitoring well is used to obtain water quality samples and measure groundwater levels.
The majority of the restoration work is removal of soil. After the soil is removed, more tests will be performed to ensure it meets the most stringent standards set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for residential development.
The LandWell Restoration Project will be one of the largest mixed-use master planned communities in Southern Nevada.
