With the remediation work on the 2,200-acre site ready to begin, Basic Remediation Company (BRC) has tapped Weston Solutions, Inc. to be the project's construction manager.  For fifty years, Weston Solutions has been a leading redevelopment and construction firm.

Weston Solutions is employee-owned and provides a variety of services, including design, construction, environmental remediation, redevelopment and management and compliance.  Just last year, Weston Solutions received the 2007 AON Build America Award in the Environmental - New Construction category at the 88th Annual Associated General Contractors (AGC) Convention.  The company was recognized for its work on the 1.5 mile Reach Removal Cleanup Action on the Housatonic River in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

After months of preparation, Weston Solutions helped BRC solicit bids from nine companies, four from Nevada while the rest were from other states.  The company chosen to perform the remediation will remove the contaminated soil and transport it to a state-of-the-art-Corrective Action Management Unit (CAMU).  Weston Solutions will assist BRC in overseeing the remediation work.  BRC expects to select a remediation company by the end of February 2008.
