In accordance with Clark County Department of Air Quality & Environmental Managment (DAQEM), Basic Remediation Company and ENTACT have acquired a Dust Permit (#35923) for the entire remediation project.  Under the conditions of the permit, dust mitigation measures are currently underway including but not limited to the use of approved dust suppressant additives and the use of multiple water trucks during all construction activities.

In addition, BRC has just completed their background study of air quality using electronic equipment to establish a baseline of particulates in the air under normal conditions.  During remediation BRC, using electronic, real-time readings, will continuously monitor the air for an increased level of a multitude of potential particulates that may come from the site.  Any increase will result in an immediate increase of dust mitigation.
